Before applying for financial assistance, review the basic requirements below. Helping Funds Foundation considers each application based on eligibility, supporting documentation, verification, program requirements, and available resources.

Basic Requirements

Have a valid reason for requesting financial assistance.
Have been in the United States for at least 3 months.
Select the appropriate type of assistance.
Provide two valid forms of government-issued identification.
Have a full-time job, subject to verification.
Provide employment and income information.
Provide monthly income and expense information.
Submit the required supporting documentation.
Provide two guarantors for the application.
Complete the required verification and review process.

Additional Requirements by Assitance Type

Car & Transportation: Valid driver’s license and related vehicle documents.
Student & School: Valid School ID and school-related documents.
Legal Matters: Relevant documents from a lawyer or legal representative.
Other Essential Needs: Supporting documents and a clear reason for the request.
