Eligibility

Before applying for financial assistance, review the basic requirements below. Helping Funds Foundation considers each application based on eligibility, supporting documentation, verification, program requirements, and available resources.

Basic Requirements

  • Have a valid reason for requesting financial assistance.
  • Have been in the United States for at least 3 months.
  • Select the appropriate type of assistance.
  • Provide two valid forms of government-issued identification.
  • Have a full-time job, subject to verification.
  • Provide employment and income information.
  • Provide monthly income and expense information.
  • Submit the required supporting documentation.
  • Provide two guarantors for the application.
  • Complete the required verification and review process.

Additional Requirements by Assitance Type

  • Car & Transportation: Valid driver’s license and related vehicle documents.
  • Student & School: Valid School ID and school-related documents.
  • Legal Matters: Relevant documents from a lawyer or legal representative.
  • Other Essential Needs: Supporting documents and a clear reason for the request.

Guarantor Requirements & Responsibilities

Two guarantors are required for every application, and their information may be verified. Each guarantor may need to provide

  • Full legal name
  • Contact information
  • Current address
  • Employment information
  • Identification details

Guarantors should review all applicable terms and responsibilities before agreeing. Providing guarantors does not guarantee application approval.

Applicants must have a genuine reason for requesting financial support, must have lived in the United States for at least three months, and must have verified full-time employment.

HFF considers requests related to vehicles, student or school expenses, legal matters, and other documented essential needs.

Applicants must provide two forms of government-issued identification. Education-related applications require a valid school ID and supporting documents from the school. Legal-related requests require proper documentation from a lawyer.

Applicants must submit a complete monthly income and expense statement along with all other required documents. Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee approval.
